It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Threadsday post, but it’s something I plan on getting back into, so this post is a bit of an introduction for Stylecards and a reintroduction for Threadsday.
Stylecards is a project with a couple of aspects to it. The primary one so far has been to take photos of models in Second Life, then run the photos through Easy Diffusion to make them look more lifelike. The resulting images are posted to Flickr, Tumblr, Pixelfed and Patreon. For the past month or so I’ve been posting a new image from EasyD daily, and for the past couple of weeks I’ve also been creating weekly pictorials for Patreon members. Ideally, people will like the daily images so much that they decide to get Patreon memberships to get exclusive content.
The other aspect is as an in-world modeling agency. While Stylecards has an in-world location in Cloudville, it’s very much a work-in-progress. The building is there, but I’m still working on the signage and furnishings.

Threadsday is sort of a Stylecards adjacent project. Taking all these photos has led to a huge increase in the number of outfits (as if it’s a problem (•ᴗ-)✧ ), so these posts are a way to show off the outfits and work on my Second Life photography skills.
This edition of Threadsday has Ayodele Soyinka modeling an outfit I’ve had so long I’m not even 100% sure where it came from. It’s from Gizza Creations, and I think it may have been received during orientation in Firestorm. Either that or it was one of those freebies available to new accounts. It came bundled with a few mesh accessories like a belt and a bag, but I like how it looks in the image above; simple and unpretentious. A pair of canvas low top sneakers from Semller completes the outfit.
