TESOL Certificate

The TESOL certificate is a short academic program for people who have earned a bachelor’s degree and would like to teach English to speakers of other languages.
I began taking the classes part time in 2007 at Indiana University’s IUPUI campus. At the time, the national news was hinting at a likely recession, and I wanted to have something to fall back on in case of layoffs. By taking one or two classes each semester, I finished the TESOL certificate program in Spring of 2010.
