Instructional Goal Terminal Objective Parallel Test Item
Choose to comply with corporate mask-wearing requirements Within the corporate workplace (CN), learners will be compliant with corporate mask policies (B), without any issues of non-compliance (CR) Outcome: The outcome for this goal is an attitudinal change. The learner will choose to wear their mask in the workplace as identified by corporate policy the workplace as identified by corporate policy.
Assessment: Data from HR will provide assessment validation regarding mask non-compliance reporting.
Assessment Procedure: Human Resources has a standing procedure for documenting non-compliance and will continue to build that data set to provide pre- and post-data points.
How to Understand Mastery: Mastery of this objective will be measured by the change in compliance as measured by a positive or negative change in non-compliant reporting data.
Subordinate Skills Performance Objectives Parallel Test Item
1. Recognize the benefits of wearing a mask Given written and oral information (CN), the learner will identify (B) the benefits of wearing a mask with a passing score of 85% (CR) Outcome: The outcome of this objective will show an understanding that the learner will demonstrate by completing the wear-a- mask activity sheet in the employee guidebook. The learner will identify when a mask is appropriate, current mask resources, and additional resources that will aid in support their tea/peers in mask compliance.
Assessment: The pre-test will allow a base line of understanding. Once completing the course this test will be repeated as an end-of-course evaluation along with the employee guidebook activities to support a holistic approach.
Assessment Procedure: The instructor will actively observe the learner’s engagement in the employee guidebook completion including grading of the pre & post course assessment.  
How to Understand Mastery: The task is considered mastered when the post course assessment score is 85% or higher, and the learner has completed their employee guidebook to the satisfaction of the instructor.
4. Understand the means of disease transmission Given written and oral information on a test (CN), learners will be able to identify (B) disease transmission elements with an 85% passing rate (CR). Outcome: The outcome of this objective will show an understanding that the learner will demonstrate by completing the COVID transmission activity in the employee guidebook. The learner will identify when transmission is most likely to occur, current risk factors, and additional resources that will aid in support their team / peers in understanding transmission risk.
Assessment: The pre-test will allow a base line of understanding. Once completing the course this test will be repeated as an end-of-course evaluation along with the employee guidebook activities to support a holistic approach.
Assessment Procedure: The instructor will actively observe the learner’s engagement in the completion of the employee guidebook including grading of the pre & post course assessment.
