Storm’s a brewin’

Posted on July 21, 2004

I realize that the only times I have written lately have been related to the weather, but what can I say? That’s the way it is.

Anyway, we have another storm coming through this evening, and according to weather.com, it looks to be short, but very intense. The radar picture shows a lot of red areas surrounded by only a few green areas.

One of the buildings next to mine just got some sort of membrane roofing put on it today, but it doesn’t look like they quite finished before quitting for the day. Considering the wind we are getting now, I am wondering if that membrane will still be on in the morning. I think they glued it to the roof, but left the edges unfinished. It might be just enough for the rain and wind to tear it asunder(?).
