Well, the website is now running on Chai. I’m making my own blog software called Chai. At the moment, it is at v 0.0.1, although by the time I get it so you can read articles on the main page, then it will be probably 0.1.* or higher. You can go here to read a bit more about it. Now, back to work.

I am such a slacker. My website got hacked and I didn’t notice for nearly two weeks. However,
I’m philosophical about it. It wasn’t a particularly clever hack. PHP-Nuke has its share of security holes
(or more than its fair share, depending on who you talk to). My site is so low traffic (even from me :-),
that I’m not too worried. It’s not like I have an e-commerce site or anything. On the other hand, I feel it would also be a good idea for me to do my own code, rather than rely on someone
elses. This way, I should have a better handle on how the various scripts work and how they relate to each
other. So, with that in mind, gottahavacuppamocha under PHP-Nuke is down and going to be replaced with
my own code. Expect it to be very basic at first. The main goal at the outset will be to get it
working with my Nuke databases. Mainly, I want to get the articles, the gallery, and the journals up. Since
my site is such low traffic, I’ m not going to worry about the user tables right away. I want to get that
secure and working correctly before I put it up.
